Then crippling and/or killing the destroyer class Venators in the next sector of space will be rather 'easier' to do (if you target the right subsystem room(s) with your opening shots. By then you will have earned enough Coin/Scrap to upgrade your ship's subsystems, get better weapons and get/find crew to move to the next sector area of space. I would suggest doing the "boring" task of "grinding" the sector of space that has unmanned Venators untill around 30.0 wanted bounty level (50 or 60'ish fights with Drone enemies). But one must learn and adapt to overcome (= satisfaction whenever you do it).
